I was born in a small town at the Baltic Sea, so the love for water in motion was obviously put in my cradle. Curiosity led me out into the world early though. The wanderlust never quite left me.
I have a certain fascination with Finland and Sweden. Above all I love the beautiful nature, the simplicity and the reserved friendliness of Scandinavians.
As hustle and bustle have their charm too, I have been living close to Berlin since 2019.
After completing my training as an industrial clerk at the international media group Bertelsmann, I moved into controlling. Here, over the past 10 years, I gained experience in the publishing industry, medical technology, the beverage industry and at a payment service provider.
Since this year I have been diving deeper into the world of data. From Python to machine learning and business intelligence, I try to absorb everything data science has to offer. The goal: taking the step into this exciting area professionally.
I love challenges – not only in my professional life. For example learning weird languages such as Polish and Finnish. Too difficult? C’mon! With a little ambition and self-confidence nothing is impossible.
As a balance to my rather mental work, I love doing things with my hands: I like spending my free time sewing, gardening and taking pictures.
Almost everything ends up in front of my lens: street art, my favorite musicians at concerts and sometimes even myself – like in the pictures on this page.
I also love sitting in a cozy café with a good cappuccino and having a chat with friends - or just watching the world go by.
Honestly, is there anything better than a good cup of coffee with hot steamed milk? I don’t think so.
